# DN1400 PE Electrofusion Coupler – SDR17 PN10, PE100

A straight join for two lengths of DN1400 PE pipe, fused by electric current instead of a hot plate.

Most HDPE couplers on the market stop at DN630. This one runs to DN1400, which puts it on short-list territory for contractors building large municipal water or gas mains where butt fusion isn't practical - inside a trench, under a road, or on a repair cut where you can't get a butt machine in.

The fitting carries a copper heating coil cast into the bore. You scan the barcode on the body with the welding machine, the correct voltage and time load automatically, and the coil melts a controlled band of PE on both pipe ends. When the indicator pins pop, the joint is done - same material, same pressure rating as the pipe either side of it. No filler, no external heat source, no second operator guessing the temperature.
