An HDPE saddle made to be welded on site with the standard electrofusion equipment already on the crew's truck. Because it fuses in place, a branch can be added wherever the main already lies in the trench, without carrying the pipe to a bench or preparing a union first.

A Field-Fusion Saddle for In-Situ Branching

Branching after the main is laid should not mean re-arranging the trench. This saddle welds where it sits, driven by ordinary fusion equipment, so the extra outlet is created without cutting the run or moving heavy pipe.

Weld Where the Main Already Lies

Fit the saddle to the exposed main, run the fused cycle, and the connection is made in position. That keeps the work tight, fast and free of extra handling.

An HDPE branch saddle that takes a side outlet from a main pipe without cutting it or draining it. The branch is fused onto the side wall and the connection opens cleanly, letting a lateral be added while the main stays intact and the rest of the network keeps flowing.
