Butt Fusion Equal Tee Size and Wall Series
A butt fusion equal tee branches a line without reducing either leg. The body is moulded in one piece, so the three fusion ends are machined in a single setting and the branch stays square to the run. Two features of the schedule are worth reading before you order. The dn315 tee is moulded in three wall series - SDR9, SDR11 and SDR17 - because it is a size that turns up in all three duty classes. Every other size carries SDR11 and, from dn90 up, SDR17 as well; the sizes at the bottom of the range are moulded in the heavier series only. A dash means the tee is not moulded in that combination, not that the branch cannot be made - the next size up or a reducing tee will normally do the same job.
