Electrofusion Saddle HDPE - On-Site Branch Connection on the Main Pipe Wall

The electrofusion saddle is designed to optimise on-site construction efficiency: it fuses to both the main pipe and the branch pipe with nothing more than an electric fusion machine, no complex tooling, and can be handled by a single operator. The arc-shaped saddle seat carries a positioning structure that fits quickly against the outer wall of the main pipe and keeps the weld accurate.

Raw Materials

• Water supply fittings - Sinopec PE100 grade high-density polyethylene, complying with the GB/T 13663 hygiene and pressure-bearing standards: non-toxic, odourless, creep resistant and anti-ageing.
• Gas fittings - Borouge HE3490, a PE100 grade bimodal blend that has passed the GB 15558.1 gas mandatory certification, with excellent resistance to rapid and slow crack propagation, environmental stress cracking resistance and long-term stability.

Testing Centre

The factory's CNAS-certified laboratory is equipped with precision testing instruments including universal material testing machines, hydraulic blasting testers, melt flow rate meters, Vicat softening point testers, oxidation induction time meters, carbon black content analysers and high/low temperature cycling chambers. It covers mechanical properties, thermal properties, chemical stability and long-term pressure resistance, so each product can be verified against national, European and international standards.
