Central Plastics Electrofusion Fittings

 The central piece of this product range is the electrofusion straight coupler, engineered as a two-ended PE100 socket that makes a straight-line repair or extension joint on HDPE piping. Both ends carry an embedded resistance coil; during electrofusion the coil heats the bore and the two pipe ends together, so the material melts and fuses into one homogenous wall. The result is a joint that is stronger and more reliable than most mechanical connectors and is fully resistant to leakage over decades of service. The coupler accepts plain-ended PE100 pipe without threads, couplers or adhesives, and it can be welded with standard electrofusion machines using the barcode / parameter settings printed on each fitting. Deep socket geometry keeps the pipe centred during heating, which gives a clean uniform weld bead and easy visual inspection. After welding, the fused pipe run can be pressure-tested immediately, making the fitting well suited to potable water, gas, sewage, drainage and industrial applications. Because the straight coupler is the most widely used electrofusion component, it is kept in continuous production across a full nominal size range in SDR11 and SDR17. Each unit is moulded to tight dimensional tolerances, packed for export, and accompanied by technical data so installers can fuse fast and with confidence on any HDPE pipeline project.
