Electrofusion Reducing Tee

Reducing the Branch, Not the Run
When a large main must feed a smaller service line, the simplest layout is a reducer and a tee bolted together. The reducing tee does both in one body: the run passes through at full internal bore while the branch outlet is moulded to a smaller size, so the step-down happens inside the fitting itself.

One Fitting Replaces Two
Combining the reducer and the tee into a single moulding removes an entire joint from the line. Fewer joints means fewer places for a leak to develop, less alignment to manage, and a shorter, tidier segment in an already-cramped trench.

Where a reduced tap helps

Installation note
Confirm the run and branch sizes against the pipe being joined, clean and scrape each socket, seat the pipes to the stops, weld in the required orientation and respect the cooling time before the line is pressurised.
