PE Branch Saddle - Water-Shielded Opening Saddle for Live Branch Connections

This PE branch saddle - also known as a water-shielded opening saddle-type bypass - is a branch connection solution designed for PE and HDPE water supply and gas pipeline systems. It integrates two core functions, electric fusion welding and pressure-bearing opening, so branch diversion, pipeline renovation and emergency repair can be carried out without closing the main pipeline valves or interrupting flow.

Key Features

• Most reliable sealing - electrofusion welding is used throughout. The fitting is injection moulded from high-quality PE100 grade raw material with an electrically heated wire inside; a dedicated welding machine fuses it to the main pipeline, forming molecular-level bonding at the welding surface and completely removing the risk of leakage.
• Excellent pressure-bearing performance - complies with industry standards such as SDR11 / PN16 for water supply and SDR17 / 10 bar for gas, with no ageing or leakage during long-term operation.
• Live operation - branch connections, renovation and emergency repairs are all possible without shutting the main line, which reduces cost and improves efficiency on pipeline projects.
