Monolithic End Cap

A monolithic end cap moulded as a single solid piece, so the terminal has no seam, weld line or layer to split apart. The uniform wall thickness and continuous material keep the closure as strong as the pipe itself under sustained pressure. Because the whole cap is one body, it resists creep and cracking better than assembled or multi-part closures.

The word monolithic means one stone - and for an end cap that is exactly the point. The cap is formed from a single mass of PE, so the closure has no joints, bonds or inserts where stress could concentrate.
