PE100 Electrofusion Elbow - 90 and 45 Degree HDPE Elbows

The PE100 electrofusion elbow makes a turning connection in an HDPE pipeline system. Spiral electric heating wires are embedded in the fitting; when the electrofusion welding machine energises them, the interface between the fitting and the pipe melts and fuses, producing a joint whose strength is often higher than that of the pipe itself. Each elbow is injection moulded as a single piece and fitted with connection terminals for the welding leads.

• Electrofusion 90 degree elbow - for right-angle turns in HDPE pipeline systems, with embedded spiral heating wires and moulded connection terminals.
• Electrofusion 45 degree elbow - for a gentler change of direction in urban water supply, drainage and gas infrastructure. Compared with traditional fittings the material offers excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance and anti-ageing properties, with a service life of over 50 years.
